Dr. Streif graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1987, after which he completed a General Practice Residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After practicing general dentistry for two years in a private practice near Rochester, Minnesota he entered a Periodontal Residency in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with course work at Marquette University. Clinical training was provided at the Milwaukee Veterans Medical Center, Marquette University and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.

Dr. Streif is originally from Wisconsin, his hobbies include fly fishing, cross country skiing, golf, reading and spending time at his cabin in Hayward, Wisconsin with his wife Susan and children Lizzie and Eddie.

He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, the Minnesota Dental Association, the Minnesota Association of Periodontists, Casting for Recovery and Fishing Has No Boundaries.
